Hampton, NH and Williston, VT – Harris Utilities (Harris), a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU) is pleased to announce that Unitil Services Corp. (Unitil) has selected Systems & Software (S&S), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harris Utilities, to implement its enQuesta solution.

Unitil, which serves approximately 102,000 electric customers and 74,000 gas customers, operates gas and electric transmission and distribution systems throughout Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

In May 2012, Unitil in conjunction with Black & Veatch, developed a detailed Request for Proposal seeking a new CIS application.  Unitil was in search of a solution that would provide the design and functionality required to enhance their rate options and retail choice offerings for their customer base and offered configurable options readily available to address consumer oriented regulatory commissions.

S&S’ comprehensive enQuesta solution will replace Unitil’s current CIS system and will include web-based customer self-service, business intelligence, and MeterSense the meter data management solution from Harris Utilities to support Unitil’s AMI investment.

“Unitil conducted an extensive RFP process and S&S was simply the best match for our customers’ and organizational needs,” said Jonathan Everett, Unitil’s Vice President of Information Technology.  “We look forward to working with Systems & Software.”

Raja Mukherjee, S&S’ General Manager, commented that “Our selection is a testament to the superior and functionally rich enQuesta solution and the Systems & Software team.  enQuesta will enable Unitil to rollout the next generation of customer service tools integrated to the smart grid and third party suppliers.”

Systems & Software and Unitil are implementing enQuesta with a Go-Live date planned for 2015.  S&S is confident that they can provide the same record of continued success which they have demonstrated to all of their enQuesta customers.
